How To Request Cash Gifts

New to Wishpot is the ability to request cash gifts

1. Request Cash

In the same way that you add an item to your wish list or registry you can add a request for cash. The Wishpot Button lets you add any graphic to your list.

  • Find a 'cash' graphic online
  • Click the Wishpot Button. The 'Add to Wishpot' form and the graphic you selected will be visible.

2. Click Contributions

    To enable contributions, near the end of the 'Add to Wishpot' form click 'Contributions'.

3. Enter PayPal Email

  • Enter the PayPal email address you would like contributions made to.
  • Click 'Add'.

Your request for cash will now appear in your list with a "Contribute" button. Cash Gifts How To Paypal

Wishpot sends you an email notification every time someone contributes or gives you cash. To see who has contributed go to your "My Wishpot" page, under your profile picture, click "Reserved Items". There you can see who and how much each individual has contributed.

Each time someone gives you cash the percentage contributed will be updated. The updated percentage is visible to other gift shoppers. Anyone with a PayPal account can give you cash. You do not need to be a registered member of Wishpot.

Use contributions to create honeymoon registries , mortgage registries, request charity donations, request cash, or ask friends and family to pitch in for a larger item. And Wishpot lets you know who has contributed. So you always know who to thank.
