[By using the Site, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy, as modified from time to time by us. What is Personal Information?

Public Postings, Content and Ratings

You can publish a wish list on the Site as well as publishing various , comments, reviews and other content on various portions of the Site . Members can choose to rate products, services or other wishes, and to connect to other members. As an unregistered visitor, we do not allow you to rate products and/or reviews or to enter comments.

Certain information that you post on the Site may be displayed publicly and shared with other users, I such as items on your wish list, reviews, comments, and your user profile.á Your use of the Site constitutes your consent to share this information publicly.á You may elect to restrict access to certain information, such as your profile and wish list, by using the available privacy settings.á Please be aware, however, that although we use commercially reasonable efforts to implement these restrictions and honor these designations, no system or security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and therefore, we cannot guarantee that this information will not be available to others.á You should also be aware that regardless of the setting you select for your own wish list and profile, personal information that you post in connection with other user's wish lists or in any comments, reviews, profile, discussion groups, email, or any other interactive areas of the Site that are not designated as private, or other information that is provided for the purpose of being shared is publicly available and can potentially be viewed by anyone.á In addition, your member name is automatically displayed with wishes and comments you publish, and if other members choose to, they can receive email notifications of your publications or publish their own comments to your items.

We publish product ratings and use them to develop aggregate ratings, personalize site views and merchandise products. We use your items, comments and reviews to personalize the site and identify/feature popular members. For example, we may promote most popular items and members. While we don't expect to transfer the complete review and member database to others (except as contemplated elsewhere in this statement), we use the database throughout our networks and to generate results for others.

Security

We have put into place reasonable security measures in an effort to protect personal information while it is under our control. Your account information is accessible online only through the use of a password. We have put in place email notifications to let you know of any changes to your account.á To protect the confidentiality of personal information, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. You are responsible for all uses of our web site by any person using your password. Please advise us immediately if you believe your password has been misused.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties without your prior consent except in the limited circumstances described in this Policy (and in any updates to this policy that may be posted to the Site from time to time). áHowever, we may share aggregate information to third parties without your authorization.á We may share personal information with third-party vendors, consultants and service providers ("Service Providers") who assist us in performing functions necessary to operate our business. Information about our users, including personal information, may also be disclosed or transferred as part of, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition or in any other situation where personal information may be transferred as one of the business assets of Wishpot.

Cookies, IP Addresses and URLs

1. Automatically Collected Information: We automatically receive certain types of information whenever you interact with us. This Site is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not intend to collect any personal information from children who are under 13 years of age, except as may be permitted by law. áWish lists for children under 13 are solely intended to be created on their behalf by a parents, guardian or other user 13 years of age or over, and no personal information regarding such child should be submitted directly by a child under 13.á If children under 13 wish to create a wish list, they should ask their parent or guardian to open an account and create one on their behalf. If you are under 13, do not attempt to create an Wishpot account and do not provide any personal information on our web site.

Our web site contains links to other web sites. Any personal information you provide on the linked pages is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of web sites to which we link. Links from our web site to third parties or to other sites are provided for your convenience. Data Changes

If you terminate your account or delete/change your data or content, we usually update our live databases immediately. However, some data may update more slowly, and some old data may remain in our archives and records. Also, we may be unable to propagate changes to partners who receive your data or content. If your account is being terminated or suspended, we may maintain some data to prevent re-registration.
